My Journey to Ahimsa Yoga Sancturay

My actual yoga journey started in 2014.  Being diagnosed with breast cancer and tested positive for BRCA-1 gene brought my fast-paced life to a complete halt.  During those months of intense chemo, the usually energetic me could only take on a restorative pose and breathe as my only exercise of the day.  Some gentle poses were the only forms of physical therapy I knew of to help increase my range of motion after surgeries.  Yoga became my best pal in those lowest moments of my life...

Grateful beyong words that God gave me a second chance, I was determined to give back in all the ways I can.  Yoga was and still is one of the biggest blessings that helped me not only recover but live a healthier, fuller life.  I have been sharing my practice with many amazing yogi friends.  Now it's time to expand my love for yoga and for serving others to more whom God place on my path.

It has been my dream for the past several years to build a non-profit healing center where I can help my yogi friends and  other fellow human beings connect internally, with each other and with beautiful nature.  While I do not have enough funds or resources to build such a center yet, I am committed to take the sanctuary to you in nature, to your backyard, to your home, to school, to workplace...
